Biennale Danza celebrates this year its 10th anniversary and the mission is to make Biennale an important point of reference for all the dancers and artsit of the world.
This project has a name: Degree Zero.

Open New York High Line
Finally the New York High Line's Section 1 (Gansevoort Street to 20th Street) opens to the public.
After ten years of advocacy, planning, and construction, the Section 1 of the High Line lets the visitors walk in the park, which is still under construction.

EyeStop
EyeStop is the new interactive bus stop for the city of Florence.
The project was developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology architects and engineers and the user can surf the web, plan a trip on an interactive map, get information about environment and air quality and more.
EyeStop is touch screen technology (iPhone-like) and can deliver in a easy way information to the users.
ENPARTS _ The Electric Body
The Electric Body is a creative workshop for 12 selected young European artists.
The project will be integrated with the Biennale Musica's themes 'The Body of Sound'.
Electric Body is associated with the centenary of the Futurist Manifesto of 1909.
Deadline for application is May 30th and the workshop will be held from September 22nd to October 2nd 2009 in Venice.

The Composition Chair
Designed by Kouichi Okamoto of Kyouei Design, the Composition Chair is created just bending aluminium.
The Composition Chair doesn't require bolts, glue or reinforcements.
The aluminium wires are crossed one by one.

The Cubicus is designed by Peer Clahsen in 1968 for Naef Toys, Switzerland.
Is not a simple game but a perfect design piece too.
Zaha Hadid for Lacoste
From the collaboration between Zaha Hadid Architects and Lacoste born a new kind of boot.
Limited to 850 pairs the boot will be present to the public in july and available at Colette in Paris, Dover Street Market in London and 10 Corso Como in Milan.
In september a low price line will be in stores.

Avedon Fashion 1944-2000
This exhibition is the most comprehensive exploration to date of Avedon's fashion photography during his long career at Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, The New Yorker, and beyond.
There are more than 200 works by Richard Avedon, spanning his entire career, including vintage prints, contact sheets, magazine layouts, and archival material.

FlexibleLove 16 seats one to sixteen.
Using an accordian-like, honeycomb structure (patent-pending), FlexibleLove 16 can be stretched to seat as many as sixteen individuals; once compacted, the chair seats one.
FlexibleLove 16 is made entirely from recycled materials (post-consumer recycled paper and post-industrial recycled wood) and uses pre-existing production processes to reduce environmental impact during manufacture.

The site is located near the center of Tokyo and it is a small plot of 44.62㎡ bounded by two streets.
Conforming to legal conditions and in response to the client’s wish for a ‘roofed garage’ the volume was trimmed from various directions.
‘Minerals’ and ‘reflection’ are keywords that help turn the negative factor of elimination into a positive one.
